Dear Customer,

Thank you for trusting us and for your patience regarding the NHTSA recall #24E093000.

We are pleased to inform you that your replacement adapter is ready to ship, and a tracking number will be sent to you separately via email.

In the meantime, we kindly ask you to safely dispose of your V1 adapter by following the steps outlined in this video: https://bit.ly/3O6Oj9f.

You can wait until a tracking number is issued for the replacement, before disposing of the previous adapter.

Once you have completed the steps, the adapter will be rendered unusable.

For recycling, here are a few recommended options:

Specialized Recycling Services: Companies like Freedom Electronics offer specific programs

for recycling EV charging equipment. For instance, they provide an EV Charger Recycling

Program with incentives for returning non-working Level 2 chargers.

Municipal E-Waste Collection: Check with your local municipal waste management services

for designated e-waste collection days or drop-off locations.

Retailer Programs: Some electronics retailers offer recycling programs for electronic devices.

Contact local stores to inquire if they accept EV charging adapters for recycling.

Proper disposal of electronic items like EV charging adapters is essential to prevent environmental harm

and to ensure that valuable materials are recovered and reused responsibly.
