Recieved my ccs1 to Chademo adapter quickly. Looked in good condition, was well packaged for shipping.
I had to get the battery separately (should have been included for a product so expensive).
I tried it with an EVGo station near my home and charging worked with no issues.
The fit of the CCS cable from station to adapter was super snug, so was a bit of a struggle to get it seperated after charging. I suspect it will get smoother with more use, as the adapter gets broken in.
Very satisfied with the purchase.
I’ve only tried one brand of charger so far but the device worked flawlessly. I plan to go out experimenting with other brands soon. This future proofs my Leaf! Just what I’ve been waiting for.
The adapter works great, I'd give 5 stars but it's crazy expensive. :(
Packaging was a little ridiculous, large outer box, small inner box, unit was packed in smaller inner box really well. Works as advertised, don't forget to get the battery and to keep it charged!
This CCS1 to Chademo adapter is a solidly built device, and worked as instructed on a FLO 150 Kw station. I am giving it four stars instead of five for two nitpicky reasons. 1) The lack of a case given the price point. 2) The instructions being too brief and with minor errors in some places. The most glaring error in the instructions being that a battery was included. The A2Z team was at least nice enough to include a bold font correction postcard indicating that you would need to purchase a 18650 button top battery. I would still recommend this adapter to any Nissan Leaf owner.
