For added safety, the A2Z Typhoon Plug incorporates two temperature sensor switches. The first sensor derates the charging process upon reaching a certain temperature, while the second sensor halts charging, the temperature are strategically placed within the adapter. Charging can resume once the temperature normalizes and the adapter is reconnected. It's worth noting that during real-life testing, thermal shutdown was never reached.

Return Policy
We offer a 14-day return period, which allows you to request a return within 14 days after receiving your item.
Eligibility for Returns :
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Starting a Return :

Acceptance of Returns :
Upon acceptance of your return request, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Items returned without a prior request will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues :
Inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so we can address the issue.
Exchanges :
To exchange an item, return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period :
For items shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification, under the same conditions mentioned above.
Refunds :
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and inform you whether the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. It may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Change of Mind or Unneeded Items :
For returns due to change of mind, not needed, received as a gift, received a free adapter from the car manufacturer, or any other reason, the 14-day period applies. The adapter must be in perfect condition, not used, and the customer is responsible for shipping costs as we do not issue return labels for these situations. A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply.
Defective Products :
If a product is received defective, we will replace it by sending a replacement the same or next business day, provided it is in stock.
Preorders :
When canceling a preorder, we reserve the right to apply transaction fees up to $10 USD on refunds.
Refused Deliveries :
If a customer refuses delivery and the package is returned to us, they are eligible for a refund minus restocking fees and any customs fees incurred by us.
Additional Policies for Fair Business Practice :
Shipping Costs for Returns: Except for defective products or incorrect shipments, customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with returns.
Restocking Fees: Restocking fees are applied to cover the processing, inspection, and repackaging of items. These fees are waived for defective products or incorrect shipments.

Item Condition: Items must be returned in their original condition. We reserve the right to refuse a return or exchange if items have signs of use, damage, or missing parts.

I haven’t used it yet but it is certainly of robust construction and fits into the car connection easily. I will be taking a road trip in a few weeks and based on feedback from other customers, expect no difficulties.

A2Z NACS Adapter bumpy start but good now
Our first two attempts at using the adapter didn't work, it turns out I didn't push the Tesla plug far enough into the adapter. The Tesla site we were at was fairly busy so I didn't want to take up more space while I figured it out, fortunately it was just a test which I would recommend everyone do. Our second attempt went much better and we were able to get the charger up and running fairly quickly. We used the Tesla app to initiate the charge and it worked fine. Once we finished our test charge I couldn't get the adapter to separate from Tesla charge cord no matter how hard I tried. I finally called A2Z customer service and they were a great help. It was just a matter of firmly pushing the Tesla cord into the adapter and then pushing down hard on the release button and it separated. So all good now but I'm glad we did a test run before we really need a charge.

To unplug it, push down the button, then PUSH IN, then pull it out. Otherwise it won’t separate from the Tesla plug.
The adapter itself worked fine, but the Tesla supercharger was more than double what I pay to charge on my L2 at home, and not much faster at at around 25 kW (less than half what the 2023 Chevy Bolt is supposedly capable of). I sat there an hour and only added 12 miles of estimated range (in February in the north), but it was enough to make me confident that I’d be able to get all the way home so there was that…

This is a solid and robust adapter. The flare on the input of the NACS connector is genius. The button, used for CCS1 disconnect is also the same for NACS disconnect. NACS, you just push the button down a little more and it will release. The engineering is solid on this adapter.
